All the Laguna locals know the magic the holiday season enhances. Our southern California kind of Christmas lives up to all its stereotypes in the best way possible. We are fortunate enough to call this picture-esque townhome for the holidays. As the leaves turn orange, our town transforms into a holiday haven.
All kinds of events happen during the holidays, typically starting on Thanksgiving; all of our local restaurants offer amazing deals. You and your family can take the stress off and order a fabulous Thanksgiving dinner. Here are just some of our Thanksgiving options!

For Christmas and Hanukkah, we have many fun opportunities for you and your family to get together and go out. First, we have our Sawdust Winter Fantasy Festival; you can buy handcrafted gifts, live entertainment, and winter-themed art classes here. They also offer a petting zoo, glass blowing, puppet shows, falling snow, carolers, and more. There is also a surfboard menorah display on the Main Beach from December 18th to 26th. In the Ritz-Carlton, there is a tree lighting, and you can walk around their beautifully decorated grounds while you are there. In the center of town is our Laguna Beach playhouse, which plays their production of Sisters Christmas.
A fan-favorite of Laguna Beach festivities is our iconic Hospitality Night. This yearly tradition takes place on the first Friday night of December. Our downtown streets get blocked off from 5 pm to 9 pm. There are many fun activities you can do while here. All art galleries, restaurants, and boutiques are open and ready with warm welcomes. Also, there is a section where people put up booths with crafting opportunities and fun activities. You can watch many performances, including a ukulele band, no square theatre performance, jazz concert, and LBUSD band performances. Our Presbyterian church also gives out endless amounts of cookies, apple cider, hot chocolate, prayer candles, and caroling. We hope to see you all there soaking up the holiday spirit!
