Fazeel Chauhan joins our LBHS counseling team from Chaparral High School in San Dimas, CA where he was a DIS counselor. Before that, he provided mental health support to students at Oscar de la Hoya High school in Los Angeles.

Fazeel lived for 5 years in New Orleans while attending junior college. He received his bachelor’s degree in Information Technology (with a minor in Psychology) from California State University, Los Angeles.

In his previous career, he was a systems analyst and trainer, providing support to the Councilmembers’ and Mayor’s offices at Los Angeles City Hall. He graduated from California State University, Long Beach with a master’s in Social Work and a PPS credential.

He has also enjoyed being a life coach and peer counselor for many years. In his free time, Fazeel likes hiking, playing music, soccer, community service, gardening, and the arts. He is passionate about the fields of Psychology and Self-development.
