Q: How does your club meet safely during the pandemic?

A: This club is very hands-on and is also completely virtual to comply with our Virtual Academy students if classes were to resume in-person. The club includes online presentations with guest speakers provided by Colors for Coats!

Q: What short term and long term goals does your club have?

A: Some long term goals our club has it to be able to create fundraisers to be able to raise money for the topic of the month!

Q: Does your club give back to the community? If so, how?

A: My club is an awareness club, so the club gives back to the community by giving useful information to be able to use for later use.

Q: What unique experiences or opportunities do members of your club gain?

A: They gain the opportunity to learn and raise awareness about different health disparities.

A: Other clubs, admin, teachers, students, or broader community can help me with my club by helping advertise the club

Q: Can students get community service hours from attending your club or any of your events? If so, what would this experience look like?

A: Yes, this organization provides projects, articles and fundraisers to earn volunteer hours that will be signed off by Colors for Coats.

Q: What does your club strive to solve or achieve?

A: We strive to solve the lack of information given to the general public to better the community.

Q: What is unique about your club?

A: Something that is unique about Colors for Coats is that It is one of the first health disparity chapters at LBHS.

Q: How did you come upon your club in the first place, or why do you uphold it?

A: Was there a defining moment of experience that served as a call for action for you to take on leadership in this area? I came upon this club through an Instagram page. I felt like the cause was a really good one and not many people really shed light on these topics, I would like to include our community to help others.
