With the 1st Pick, The Chicago Bears select Marvin Harrison Jr(WR) from Ohio State. The main question for the Bears has been whether they will continue to roll with Justin Fields as their starting quarterback. Chicago has the chance to select a new quarterback, but I think they will stick with Fields and decide to draft the best receiver in college football right now. The pick was graded an (A) by the NFL Mock Draft Database Simulator.
With the 2nd Pick, The New England Patriots select Caleb Willams(QB) from USC.
New England has struggled with their quarterback, Mac Jones. Although backup quarterback Bailey Zappe has looked promising, the Patriots will want to try to return to the glory days when they had a fantastic quarterback. They will try to replicate this by drafting one of the most sought-after quarterbacks. The pick was graded an (A+).
With the 3rd Pick, The Arizona Cardinals select Mailk Nabers(WR) from LSU.
The Cardinals want to help their quarterback, Kyler Murray, as much as possible. So, they will draft Nabers as a great receiver to help strengthen their receiving core and give Murray a great deep-threat receiver they haven’t had since, Deandre Hopkins. The pick received an (A).
With the 4th Pick, The Washington Commanders select Olumuyiwa Fashanu(OT) from Penn State. As a Washington fan, we need an excellent offensive tackle to help boost our weak offensive line. With Fashanu, we can help protect our QB Sam Howell, who has thrown many interceptions and been sacked many times. The Commanders won’t have to worry as much about Howell if he has more time in the pocket, allowing him to make better decisions and have less pressure. The pick was given an (A).
With the 5th Pick, The Chicago Bears select Joe Alt(OT) from Notre Dame.
Since the Bears already took Marvin Harrison Jr with the first pick, they will want to give Fields better looks to throw to him, by snagging an offensive tackle. The Bears will now have a great receiver and a better offensive line. This will add to Justin Field’s tools to use against other teams. The pick was given a grade of (A).
With the 6th Pick, The Las Vegas Raiders select Drake Maye(QB) from North Carolina. If the Raiders draft Drake Maye, the league will have to watch out, as the rookie quarterback would be throwing the ball to star receiver Davante Adams. He would also have an elite running back in Josh Jacobs and wide receivers Jakobi Meyers and Hunter Renfrow as other options. The pick received an(A+).
With the 7th Pick, The New York Jets select J.C. Latham(OT) from Alabama.
The New York Jets started the 2023 season off to a rough start with their acquired quarterback Aaron Rodgers suffering an injury within his first snaps. Rodgers looks to be back for the 2024 season, so the Jets will try to give him a better look after he has hiked the ball. The pick received an (A).
With the 8th Pick, The New York Giants select Jayden Daniels(QB) from LSU.
This year’s Heisman winner would be an excellent fit for a team that needs work in the quarterback position. Their injured quarterback, Daniel Jones, hasn’t been their man, and although backup Tommy Devito has been playing well, he isn’t ideally their long-term starting quarterback. The pick got a grade of(A+).
With the 9th Pick, The Tennesse Titans select Kool-Aid McKinstry(CB) from Alabama. With one of the worst defenses in the league, the Titans will want an elite player to lead them. McKinstry will help them increase their defensive play and allow them to give up fewer yards and touchdown passes. The pick was given an(A+)
With the 10th Pick, The Los Angeles Chargers select Brock Bowers(TE) from Georiga. The Los Angeles Chargers used to have an amazing offensive team, but this year they have really fallen off from their former years. They will want to give quarterback Justin Herbert an elite weapon to boost their offense. With rookie receiver Quentin Johnston off to a difficult start, the Chargers will want to start new with this explosive player. The pick received an (A)
