Dr. Allemann stays connected with students during COVID-19

Dr. Allemann has been doing what is possible to reach out to students and staff through zoom calls and weekly emails reflecting on the week. Dr. Allemann’s leadership, resilience, adaptability and compassion during this time has been comforting to all.

“[I miss] the people…students, teachers, parents, the day to day stuff that we all took for granted. LBHS has amazing energy when it is full of its people. I have always seen the campus as the heart of our community,” said Allemann.

“Dr. Allemann’s weekly emails and efforts to stay connected are really great,” said sophomore Vik Kasaraneni, “It’s nice to know how much our principal cares about us.”

While all of us adjust to new schedules and try our best at online learning, it can be hard to remain positive.

This event has been impactful in a variety of ways, but not all of these impacts are bad.  Keep a positive attitude and know that you are resilient.  Take this opportunity to connect with family and friends in different ways…the key word is CONNECT,” said Allemann.
