Year in Sports
June 9, 2020
“The cancelation of the spring sports season was tough on everyone, but for the seniors it has been devastating. Many had put three and half years of work in for this last chance to compete and play with and for their teammates. My hat is off to them for the way they handled the challenge and are moving forward.” – Lance Neal

“The team had a good core group of 5 seniors including captain Aiden Svenson, Tai Diggins, Trent Ralston, Cade St.Clair, and Will Keary. These players created a fun and competitive team dynamic that was producing noticeable improvement with our scores in the early season – we even had a couple of the players already posting “career low” scores at Ben Brown’s golf course. Obviously, it’s unfortunate the season was cut short, as overall the players were developing nicely and it looks like it would have been a productive and rewarding season.”

“They were undefeated and were expected to easily win the league championship and we’re favored by many to win this year’s CIF Title. These guys put in the hard work and dedication required to rise to this elite level. It makes me sad to see their last season come to an end the way it did. These guys are awesome athletes and individuals, I will remember each one of them for the rest of my life.I am happy though they can at least experience an undefeated season, taking down teams that have traditionally beaten us in the past. These guys came together as a team and all contributed at an extremely high level.” – Julien Heine
